I let the new moon get away from me. This past weekend was absolutely insane for me busy-wise. I don't know what happened. Here's my ort jar for this new moon. I got lazy and just put it up on my project case this month. If you are interested in getting involved with the TUSAL, head on over to Daffycat's page and sign up, it's never too late to start!
I do need to put a little update on my QS Fire Moon, I started over. I'll explain more when I post my update on Friday.
I hope everyone has a safe rest of the week, it's going by fast, or not, but I'm definitely ready for a long weekend!
Welcome! This is where I will be posting my progress on various craft projects that I have going. It started as just cross stitch but I seem to be unable to limit myself to one craft.

TUSAL again?
Didn't we just do this last week? Oh no, I see it's been a whole month again. My dad was right, the older I get the faster time flies. I'd kill for a 10 year old's summer vacation day for the weekends now. That way I have more time to stitch and catch up on all that stuff I seem to be missing during the week while at work.
So here's my TUSAL update for this month. If you'd like to find out more about what a TUSAL is, or join in with us, head on over to Daffycat's page. Join in, it's nice to feel a part of something!
This morning, I went to get my eyes checked, I've been noticing some changes especially when I use higher count fabric. Yes I needed a new prescription, it was funny because when I was looking at the frames, I kept going back to the same design as I got last year! I chose a style similar, but not the same. I like the old frame though and will go back in a couple of weeks and get sunglasses put in them.I've gone for more than a year without any kind of sunglasses and for me...it's torture. I live in the desert in Arizona, we have SUN and I mean it like that, 99% of the time. It's a rare occasion when we don't see the sun at all. No pics of me in my glasses, it's not that notable, but I figured I'd record me doing something other than work, sleep and stitch.
Oh yeah and I just watched a perfect baseball game being pitched in Seattle. What a crazy finish, but congrats to Philip Humber of the Chicago White Sox! I'm not a Sox fan but I am a fan of baseball and a perfect game is NOT easy. This is only the 21st in the modern age of baseball, and totally deserves recognition.
Till later in the week, I wish you all Happy Stitching!!!

TUSAL #3
Wow, where did the month go? It's time for another TUSAL update. What is a TUSAL you ask? Well it's a Totally Useless Stitch-A-Long! If you want to take part in it, go visit Daffycat's page.
So here's my jar this month. I've spent a lot of time stitching some really colorful projects, so it's brightening up. Since I decided to take part in the 2012 Crazy Cross Stitch Challenge, I've tried many new types of stitching that I hadn't done before. And I'm stitching a ton! Lots more than I have ever done before, I think.
I hope that my infrequent posts here will increase soon too. My work situation is finally starting to settle down. I think we've found our groove which is making things go much smoother. I'll post this weeks progress on my Cancer Awareness piece. I've made huge progress and I'm getting down to the last of the specialty floss that I bought when I got the pattern from Ink Circles. I love the floss so much I bought more of what I'm using now and some other different colors as well.
I'll be back tomorrow with more pics! Happy Stitching!

TUSAL #2
So it's the new moon today, that means TUSAL update. Here's this months. Loving the colors I'm working with right now, it's making it so bright and happy looking!
If you want to take part in the TUSAL you can do so at Daffycat's page.
It's also my grandson Skylor's birthday. Happy Birthday Sky! Grandma loves you tons!
I'm working on Dysfunction all week and will post an update later this week. I have decided that I'm going to work on a weekly rotation, that way everything gets worked on for a week and that way I have a chance of avoiding that boredom that comes with only having one piece to work on. I'll still use my random number generator in order to decide what's next.
So until I am able to post more...Happy Stitching!!

TUSAL a day late and a thread short.
I just found out about the TUSAL (link over there--------->) and signed up and took my pic. I don't have a glass jar yet, I have been thinking about it and now I have a reason to get one. I currently put my ORT's in a candy bar tin. This probably won't fill up very fast, but again I remind myself, it's not a race. I enjoy stitching at my pace and would probably take another hiatus if I tried to push it.
While I'm here updating this, I'll post the pics of my Day 8 and 9 starts. I haven't added to either of them yet so they're stuck at the first pics progress.
This one is going to my hubby without a doubt. I think I made really good progress on this one for just the short time that I worked on it. I love the colors too. Both of the music clef's use Crescent Colours floss. I might buy more of it because it works up really nice.
A bunch of us are doing or have done this Alphabet Heart. It's a freebie you can get here. I am going to stitch the letters of my last name in a darker variegated thread, that way it stands out more. This one will probably stitch up pretty fast. I just have to get back to it.
I'm not doing any sort of organized rotation. I found a random number generator online that I can set my own range on. I got #15 today, so I'll be working on the day 15 project tonight.
I'm enjoying posting my updates, I think I'll keep it up. Little by little I'm learning new things about this blogging stuff. So until tomorrow...Happy Stitching!
